Learn apple tree grafting in Bristol

Take home two of your own grafted bareroot trees! Date/time: Saturday 25th Feb, 10am - 2pm. Location: Purple Patch

Access information: please walk or cycle. If you have access needs get in touch to plan your arrival.

Cost: £40 per person

10.00 Arrive at the Purple Patch, hot drink and welcome, housekeeping

10.00 - 10.30/45 Grafting theory

10.30/45 - 11.00 Practice grafting cuts and taping

11.00 - 11.20 Tea/coffee break and biscuits

11.20 - 12.30 Choosing varieties and grafting of trees to take home

12.30 - 1.30 Basics for follow on tree care explained: planting & pollination

We will be grafting our chosen varieties on to the most versatile semi-vigourous rootstock MM106
